ATTENTION: I do NOT work for Geni! I just loved their idea and believe that many people might be longing to discuss about it... just like I am :D
The purpose of this site is to discuss things about Geni like... why we love it, how it has changed our lives, etc. We definitively are NOT here to "complain" about Geni! If you want to make any suggestion to improve Geni, you should join http://forum.geni.com and post it there, you'll be very welcome. All Geni Team members are really kind and I'm sure they will be pleased to receive your comments, and you'll get as much help as possible. They are doing just a great job in their Forum!

a few comments:
(1) many of the first page of matches for me are first name only profiles (eg Nan or Mary) or "Unnamed" with dozens (eg 19, 76) of matches. these are not useful, i presume and should probably be further down the list.
(2) profiles that i have lready merged are showing up on the match list as having potential matches, but when you click to see them, there are none.
(3) when you go head and merge a match, you can click to get back to the match list, but it goes to the first page, so if you are working from page 5 or 10 you have to navigate back to where you were and it takes a long time to get there.

@mattt - that is correct; you will not be charged until the 14-day trial is over. You'll also get an email receipt when you sign up for the trial that will include a link to your settings page.
